Manila, Nov. 3 -- Minimum wage earners in Ilocos Region (Region 1) and Western Visayas (Region 6) will receive wage increases this month, following the issuance of wage orders by their respective Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards (RTWPBs).

In separate social media posts, the RTWPB-1 through Wage Order (WO) No. R1-24 said the wage adjustment for minimum daily wage earners will be from PHP37 to PHP45, while RTWPB-6 approved an increase ranging from PHP37 to PHP40.

For Ilocos, workers in non-agriculture companies with 10 or more employees will receive PHP505 daily from the previous PHP460, while those in agriculture and non-agriculture firms with less than 10 employees will get PHP480 from PHP435.
