Srilanka, June 13 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya emphasized that the low participation of inexperienced individuals in vocational training is primarily due to the lack of appeal in training institutions-and stressed the urgent need for reform.

She made these remarks during an awareness program held at the Orugodawatta Tech Institute, focusing on the upcoming "Shrama Meheyuma" initiative, set to be launched islandwide on July 4, 2025. The campaign will utilize 311 vocational training centers at national, district, and regional levels and is a core component of the broader Clean Sri Lanka program, built on environmental, social, and ethical pillars.Cricket talent
