Srilanka, April 7 -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was on a state visit to Sri Lanka from April 4 to 6 at the invitation of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, concluded his visit yesterday.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Modi was received by President Dissanayake for a ceremonial welcome at Colombo's iconic Independence Square. The ceremonial welcome was followed by official discussions between Prime Minister Modi and President Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat. In appreciation of the enduring friendship and cooperation extended to the people of Sri Lanka, President Dissanayake conferred the prestigious Sri Lanka Mitra Vibhushana Award on Indian Prime Minister Modi.
