Sri Lanka, Sept. 5 -- The combined old boys and girls team of Vidyartha College and Pushpadana Girls' School rose to the top in style, defeating Science/Girls' High School Mount Lavinia by a narrow 1-0 score to lift the Cup Championship at the ninth edition of the 'C' Rugby Tag Carnival held on August 30 at the CR&FC Grounds in Colombo.

Cheered on by a crowd of over 2,500 spectators, the final saw Vidyartha/Pushpadana hold their nerve in a tight contest that showcased strong teamwork and resilient defence.
