Sri Lanka, May 16 -- Bakthi Gee recital organised by Maha Wadduwa residents, presented by a small team of three blind persons to mark Vesak Poya, was held at a barren paddy field on Wednesday (14) night.
Roshan Kumari (43 ), Samantha Edirisinghe (52 ) and Sumith Jayawardena (46 ) are three past visually impaired students at Ratmalana Blind School and they said that they had learnt music and aesthetics at their alma mater.
The Vesak Bakthi Gee was held on a make-shift stage, in a lorry owned by Chandana Perera. The event attracted a vast crowd of residents of Wadduwa, was organised by Chandana Perera, Thilak and Thusitha.
