Sri Lanka, Jan. 30 -- The case against former MP Wimal Weerawansa and several others, concerning the alleged misuse of vehicles provided by the Presidential Secretariat to the National Freedom Front, has been postponed until June 25 for the Attorney General's instructions. The order was issued by Fort Magistrate Nilupuli Lankapura yesterday (29) .
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) informed court that the case had been referred to the Attorney General for further directives. The case involves five individuals, including former MP and National Freedom Front media spokesperson Mohamed Muzammil, who were previously released on bail.
Muzammil, along with Sarath Weerawansa and Senarathna de Silva, appeared in court as required. Howe...
