Srilanka, May 1 -- Sri Lanka's intervention regarding recent U.S.tariff hikes has been positively acknowledged by American authorities,Finance and Economic Stabilisation Deputy Minister Dr.Harshana Sooriyapperuma said.
Speaking at a media briefing at the Government Information Department yesterday (30), the Deputy Minister stated that discussions between the Sri Lankan Government and U.S. trade representatives on new import tariff policies were productive and well-received.
