Srilanka, March 27 -- US Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Julie Chang, visited the United National Party (UNP) headquarters in Sirikotha this morning (27) for discussions with UNP Chairman Vajira Abeywardena and General Secretary Thalatha Athukorala.
The meeting, which lasted over an hour, focused on the current political landscape and the UNP's ongoing activities, according to political sources.
Ambassador Chang's visit to Sirikotha follows her recent meetings with political leaders at the JVP headquarters in Pelawatte and the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) headquarters in Nelum Mawatha.
