Sri Lanka, Jan. 31 -- The verdict in the case pending at the Matale High Court against Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee Chairman Upul Tharanga for failing to appear in court to give evidence in a match-fixing case is scheduled to be announced on March 10.

The judge made this statement after the prosecution's evidence was concluded when the case was taken up before Matale High Court Judge Ravindra Premaratne today (31).

The case is being initiated following a complaint filed by him alleging that he was pressured to fix matches in the 'Legend League-2024' cricket tournament held at the Pallekele Stadium last year.
