Sri Lanka, Feb. 23 -- The Government has decided to review and update laws and ordinances that need to be amended in various sectors that have been in place for a long time in the country, Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government Minister Prof. Chandana Abeyaratne said.
He said the Government will revise existing laws to simplify certain clauses in order to provide services more easily accessible and feasible to the public.
The Minister said the Government has laid special focus on reforming outdated colonial-era administrative and legal frameworks to improve public service efficiency.
