Sri Lanka, Nov. 22 -- The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has confirmed that the bodies of two more victims of the Pahala Kadugannawa landslide have been recovered, bringing the total death toll to four. Among the deceased are three males and one female. At least four others remain hospitalized.
Rescue teams continue searching the site amid fears that more individuals may still be trapped beneath the rubble. The landslide struck a popular roadside shop near Ganethenna Junction along the Colombo-Kandy main road, causing debris to collapse onto the shop and several vehicles.
