Sri Lanka, Nov. 11 -- The United National Party (UNP) plans to launch a programme called 'Learn with Ranil' with the aim of providing political knowledge to young people.

This programme, which is scheduled to be held twice a week, will give young people the opportunity to study politics by interacting with former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Young people who wish to join can register through an online process.

The aim is to make the UNP tech savvy, enabling village members to exchange ideas with the party leadership.

Former Minister Harin Fernando, who assumed duties as UNP Deputy General Secretary yesterday, revealed this to the media.
