Sri Lanka, July 14 -- UNP leader and former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has raised concerns regarding the figures and stats of positive COVID-19 patients issued by the Government stating that a suspicion has arisen particularly after the government apparently discredited the testing facilities of the Sri Jayawardenapura University.

He added that if the health officials had taken heed of warnings as early as March and increased testing, the danger arising from this second wave could have been mitigated.
