Sri Lanka, Sept. 26 -- Over 500 T-56 ammunition, allegedly hidden by underworld gang member 'Kehelbaddara Padme', has been recovered near the Peliyagoda fish market.

Police were also able to recover 4 T-56 magazines and a micro pistol.

This information was revealed during interrogations conducted by the Western Province Northern Crime Division.

Several underworld gang members, including organized criminal Mandinu Padmasiri alias 'Kehelbaddara Padme', were recently arrested in Indonesia and are currently being interrogated in this country.
