Sri lanka, Oct. 2 -- The Hulftsdorp Magistrate's Court has granted the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) permission to detain and interrogate Sridaran Niranjan, also known as 'Tinker', a suspected member of an organized crime group recently arrested in Dubai and deported to Sri Lanka.
According to the Police Media Division, the court approved a 24-hour detention, until tomorrow (03), to allow officers to question the suspect.
Niranjan was apprehended in a joint operation conducted by the Sri Lanka Police, the State Intelligence Service, and Dubai Police in the United Arab Emirates.
