Operating under the name "EGA Visa Consultancy," the firm allegedly defrauded job seekers by promising employment opportunities in Australia without a valid SLBFE license.

The raid was triggered by a complaint from a Gampaha resident who claimed the agency had taken Rs. 3.5 million but failed to provide the promised job.

During the operation, investigators seized five passports, seven foreign employment contracts, and several cash receipt books.
