Sri Lanka, Jan. 16 -- A special police team arrested two organized criminals hiding in Dubai and a woman wanted in a money laundering investigation and brought them to Katunayake Airport this morning (16) for further inquiry.

The suspects arrived on Sri Lankan Airlines flight UL-226 at 5:20 a.m. under tight security. Among them is 52-year-old Ravin Chaminda Weerasinghe alias Puncha, a resident of Uragaha, Elpitiya, and 30-year-old Kirieldeniyage Don Rasika Sanjeewa Kumara alias Chuti Malli from Kadana, both accused of drug trafficking, extortion, robbery, and murder.Beaches & Islands

Also arrested is 56-year-old Hewa Kasakarage Ruja Nishamani de Silva of Ratmalana, wanted in connection with a money laundering case.
