Sri Lanka, Nov. 4 -- Officers attached to the Divisional Crimes Investigation Unit of Elpitiya arrested two individuals with two firearms and bullets on Sunday.The suspects were arrested on two separate occasions with a pistol, a revolver and seven 9mm bullets.The officers also had found 560 milligrams of heroin and a digital scale in the possession of one suspect.According to the police, the arrested are in ages 29 and 35 and residents of Horangalla and Niyagama areas.Both suspects were to be produced before the Elpitiya Magistrate Courts by the police yesterday.Elpitiya police are investigating.
