Srilanka, May 6 -- The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested two additional students this morning (May 6) in connection with the recent ragging incident at Sabaragamuwa University.

The suspects, both third-year students from the university's Faculty of Technology, were taken into custody as part of an ongoing investigation.

With these arrests, the total number of suspects apprehended in relation to the case has risen to ten.

The investigation was initiated following a complaint lodged at the Samanalawewa Police Station on April 29, concerning the assault of second-year students from the Faculty of Technology. The CID continues to conduct further inquiries into the incident.
