Srilanka, March 27 -- Two people were killed when a rubber latex bowser traveling from Kalawana to Baduraliya fell into a 30-foot precipice near Kodippilikanda Saman Devalaya on the Baduraliya-Kalawana road at around midnight yesterday (26).

Another individual was injured in the accident and has been admitted to Kalawana Hospital. The deceased, both employees of a rubber latex factory in Bulathsinhala, were residents of Bulathsinhala and Rambukkana.

Kalawana Police suspect that the bowser may have lost control on the steep slopes in the area, causing it to skid and fall into the precipice. Further investigations are ongoing.
