Sri Lanka, Nov. 1 -- Turkish Envoy in Colombo Semih Lutfu Turgut said that both Turkiye and Sri Lanka have taken meaningful strides to deepen bilateral engagement over the past years.
He said that they are proud of the growing partnership between two nations in many areas including trade, tourism, education and cultural exchange. We are proud that bilateral cooperation continues to expand further, he said.
The ambassador added that both countries succeeded in establishing Parliamentary Friendship Associations both and the Third Joint Economic and Trade Commission Meeting was held in Colombo in July, bringing together representatives from both Governments to chart a strategic roadmap for bilateral trade, investment and sectoral cooperati...
