Sri Lanka, Jan. 30 -- St. Peter's College has appointed star winger Vishenka Silva as the captain of their First XV rugby team for the 2025 season.
Silva, who was the leading try-scorer last season with 16 tries, played a crucial role in the Peterites' historic double triumph, as they remained unbeaten to claim both the League and Knockout Championships. His speed, agility, and attacking flair made him a constant threat to opponents, and he will now look to lead from the front as St. Peter's aims to defend their titles.
