Sri Lanka, Sept. 12 -- Trinity College, Kandy, emerged champions at the 8th Nalanda Ellawala Memorial Challenge Trophy Table Tennis Encounter against S. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia, held recently at the Kandy Municipal Indoor Stadium.

The Lions paddlers dominated this event winning all categories of the encounter against Thomians. The Under 12, Under 15 teams won the champions title which played for the Indra De Soysa Trophy while the Under 20 team also made good display to win the champions to take Nalanda Ellawala Memorial challenge Trophy.
