Srilanka, July 16 -- A short-term training program aimed at enhancing the professional skills of journalists from electronic media institutions and media organizations was held yesterday (15) at the Department of Government Information.

Organized on the instructions of Director General H. S. K. Bandara and conducted by the department's Mass Media and Research Division, the program focused on the role and responsibility of journalists, media credibility, and overcoming professional challenges.
