Srilanka, April 18 -- On the occasion of the New Year a Avurudu festival was held at the "Moragalla Heritage Maha Gedara" tourist hotel in Aluthgama with the participation of a set of foreign tourists.

Here, many competitions including smashing the pot, balloon bursting, musical chairs, Avurudu Kumariya and several other competitions were held and all the foreigners participated in these competitions with great enthusiasm. Vignettes of the event.
