Sri Lanka, Sept. 26 -- Tourism industry experienced a mixed performance this year, with a notable increase in September arrivals with a strong rebound in the first half of 2025.

According to the latest figures released by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA), 111,823 tourists arrived in the country between September 1 and 21, 2025 for three weeks. This marks a slight increase compared to September in 2024, when 122,140 visitors were recorded.
