Sri Lanka, Nov. 14 -- Former Director of the National Lotteries Board, Thusitha Halloluwa, has appeared in court to surrender following the issuance of an arrest warrant.
The warrant, issued yesterday (13) by Colombo Additional Magistrate Lahiru Silva, orders Halloluwa to be produced before the court.
He is named as a suspect in a case involving the filing of a false complaint, claiming that a group had opened fire on a vehicle he was travelling in the Narahenpita area.
