Srilanka, June 20 -- Former Executive Director of the National Lotteries Board, Thusitha Halloluwa, who had been remanded in custody, was granted bail today (20) when he was produced before the Fort Chief Magistrate's Court.

The court ordered his release on two surety bonds of Rs. 200,000 each. In addition, a travel ban was imposed, preventing him from leaving the country.

Halloluwa is accused of criminal misappropriation of government assets belonging to the National Lotteries Board, a case that is currently under judicial review.
