Sri Lanka, Oct. 30 -- Three suspects who are wanted by the Police in connection with criminal activities carried out in Sri Lanka from overseas who were deported from India have been taken into custody by the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) at the Katunayake Airport yesterday (29).

The three suspects have been deported from India to Sri Lanka after having been arrested by the Indian Security Authorities for illegally entering Tamil Nadu from Sri Lanka. It has been reported that the three suspects had crossed into Tamil Nadu by a boat about 15 days ago.

The suspects have been repatriated via an aircraft belonging to an Indian airline.
