Sri Lanka, April 3 -- The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to appoint a three-member committee to address the recent sanctions imposed by the United Kingdom on four including three ex-Commanders. The committee comprises Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath, Justice Minister Harshana Nanayakkara and Defence Deputy Minister Aruna Jayasekara, Cabinet Spokesman, Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said.
During the weekly Cabinet press briefing yesterday (2) Minister said that this committee is tasked with thoroughly studying the situation and presenting recommendations to the Cabinet on the further measures that need to be undertaken.
