Security experts have considered transnational organised crime to be a growing security problem. The destructive impact of transnational crime on global stability is another area of attention.Interestingly small and weak nations with limited resources and poor law enforcement suffer a considerably higher threat from transnational organised crime than the strong, rich, liberal democracies where it threatens law and order- but does not endanger the integrity of the State.
