Sri Lanka, Sept. 30 -- Danuja Ekanayake, right arm off spinner of Sylvster's College Kandy claimed 8 wickets for 19 runs against Royal College Polonnaruwa in their first round fixture of the Under 13 inter schools cricket tournament.

St. Sylvester's College beat Royal College Polonnaruwa by innings and 12 runs and Wadduwa Central College beat Carey College Colombo by innings and 51 runs.

Sri Devananda College Ambalangoda, St. Sebastian's College Moratuwa and Dharmaraja College Kandy won on first innings against Rahula College Matara, S. Thomas' Preparatory College Kollupitiya and Vidyartha College Kandy in their fixtures.

Helaja Dinapathi of Wadduwa Central College showed good bowling performances against Carey College Colombo.
