Sri Lanka, Nov. 14 -- Minister of Health and Mass Media Nalinda Jayatissa yesterday (13) inspected a special training program designed to enhance the skills of emergency medical technicians (EMTs) attached to the Suwaseriya Foundation.
The five-day program is being conducted at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute under the supervision of a team of paramedical science experts led by Professor Will Broughton of the University of Buckingham, UK. This is the fourth time the program has been held.
According to the Ministry, Professor Broughton and the expert team are not receiving any payment or financial contribution from Sri Lanka. All expenses, including air travel, are being covered by the British High Commission in Sri Lanka and the medi...
