Srilanka, April 21 -- Former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon, currently under suspension, has been summoned to appear before the Matara Magistrate's Court once again.

The court has ordered Tennakoon to appear on Friday, April 25, following a request by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). The request was made in light of preparations by Additional Solicitor General Dileepa Peiris to present evidence regarding an alleged violation of court orders.
