Sri Lanka, Oct. 31 -- The suspect who was remanded in custody for allegedly preparing forged documents to admit two girls to Kiribathgoda Viharamahadevi Balika Vidyalaya while posing as the principal of this school, was released on a personal bail of Rs. 500,000 by Mahara Additional Magistrate Bandara Ilangasinghe on Wednesday (29), after he pleaded guilty.
The Additional Magistrate also ordered him to go to the Kelaniya Division Special Crimes Investigation Bureau and give a statement.
The suspect, a 29-year-old Colombo Port employee, a resident of Mahara, Kadawatha, was thus released on bail.
