Sri Lanka, April 4 -- In a decisive move to enhance the country's healthcare system, Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa has assured that from now on, the process of supplying medicines will remain free from political influence.

Addressing key stakeholders at a recent meeting held at the Colombo National Hospital, the Minister emphasised that the Government is committed to ensuring a continuous and uninterrupted supply of high-quality medicines to the public.

The meeting, held in the auditorium of the hospital's new Outpatient Department building, brought together officials and authorities responsible for medicine procurement for the first time in the history of Sri Lanka's health service. The focus was on streamlining ...
