Sri Lanka, Jan. 27 -- Jaffna University Vice Chancellor Professor Sivakolundu Srisathkunarajah said yesterday that a student who was removed from the University for submitting false information had attended the Medical Faculty orientation programme for nearly two months.

He said the student had faced the admission interview in November last year and had stayed at the Medical Faculty hostel during this period. The Vice Chancellor said that Medical Faculty students are first enrolled to the university and the orientation programme.
