Srilanka, March 13 -- The strike at Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital, which was triggered by the reported rape of a female doctor, has been called off.
The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) made the announcement after holding discussions with relevant authorities.
Additionally, the token strike held across hospitals nationwide in protest of the incident ended at 8:00 AM today
