Srilanka, April 16 -- The State Timber Corporation (STC) generated a sales revenue of Rs. 4,688 million in 2024, according to Environment Minister Dr. Dhammika Patabendi. He stated that the Corporation recorded a profit of Rs. 825 million for the year.
The Minister made these remarks while attending the State Timber Corporation's Regional Managers Appreciation Award Ceremony, held recently.
In addition, the Corporation contributed Rs. 2,000 million to the Treasury and the government from its 2024 income.
