Sri Lanka, June 23 -- Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Israel, Nimal Bandara urged all Sri Lankans residing in Israel to strictly follow security guidelines to safeguard themselves from potential attacks, amid the escalating conflict situation in the Middle East.

Issuing a statement regarding the ongoing hostilities, Ambassador Bandara highlighted that following recent U.S. strikes on areas surrounding Iran's nuclear facilities, Iran has launched several missile attacks targeting northern and central urban areas in Israel. He further noted that the situation could continue to deteriorate throughout the day, as warned by Israeli security authorities.
