Srilanka, May 22 -- A delegation of 24 Sri Lankan parliamentarians and senior officials will travel to New Delhi this week to join a capacity-building program at India's Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracy (PRIDE).Sri Lankan tourism
Led by Deputy Speaker Rizvi Salih, the group was formally received by Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha at India House in Colombo today.
Running from May 26-30, the program will cover best practices in legislation and budgeting, parliamentary committee systems, and governance frameworks.
Participants will also tour sites showcasing India's advances in digital technology, energy, and urban mobility-and experience the country's rich cultural heritage.
