Srilanka, June 19 -- A Sri Lankan caregiver, identified as Iroshika Chathurangani, was injured in a missile attack launched by Iran in Tel Aviv, Israel.
She had been working at Beersheba Hospital at the time of the incident.
Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Israel, Nimal Bandara, confirmed the incident via a post on his official Facebook page.
He stated that embassy officials have been dispatched to assess the situation and provide necessary support.
Iroshika is currently receiving medical treatment, and further updates on her condition are expected.
