Srilanka, March 21 -- Two SriLankan Airlines flights scheduled for today (21) have been cancelled due to the sudden closure of Heathrow Airport in England.

In a statement, the airline announced that flight UL 503 (Colombo to London) scheduled for departure at 12:50 hrs and flight UL 504 (London to Colombo) scheduled for 20:40 hrs will not operate today.

SriLankan Airlines assured that necessary arrangements are being made for affected passengers while closely monitoring the situation at Heathrow. Flights to London will resume as soon as the airport reopens.
