Sri Lanka, May 3 -- Harshitha Samarawickrama (77) and Kavisha Dilhari (61) added a superb 128-run partnership for the fourth wicket as the Sri Lanka women's team fought back to record a 5-wicket win over South Africa women's in their Tri-Nation ODI match played at R. Premadasa Stadium yesterday.

It was a fine display of batting by Harshitha and Kavisha as they chased a target of 236 runs, boosting their hopes for the Tri-Nation series final. Following a heavy defeat to India, the Sri Lankan women produced an impressive performance, led by bowlers Malki Madara (4 for 50) and young debutant off-spinner Dewmi Vihanga (3 for 41), who restricted the South African batting lineup to 236 for 9 wickets.
