Sri Lanka, Dec. 10 -- Sri Lanka has received a total of 50,222 tourists so far in December, according to data released by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
Tourists from India accounted for the largest share, with 10,453 arrivals (21%). Other notable arrivals included 5,420 from Russia, 4,822 from Germany, 3,823 from the United Kingdom, and 2,627 from France.
With the latest December figures, tourist arrivals for 2025 have risen to 2,153,815. Among them, 485,249 were from India, 195,565 from the UK, 164,013 from Russia, 136,081 from Germany, 124,298 from China, and 103,307 from France, the SLTDA reported.
