Sri Lanka, Dec. 3 -- Sri Lanka welcomed the luxury cruise ship Mein Schiff 06, operated by TUI Cruises, to Colombo Port on Tuesday (02 Dec), marking the first significant tourist movement since last week's natural disaster. The ship carried more than 2,300 international passengers, predominantly German nationals.
According to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA), the arrival of the cruise ship is a "powerful symbol of resilience and recovery," sending a clear message that Sri Lanka remains safe, open, and ready to welcome visitors.
