Srilanka, July 9 -- The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) reports that 36,002 foreign tourists visited the country in the first six days of July 2025 alone.

This influx has pushed the total tourist arrivals for the year to 1,204,046, crossing the 1.2 million milestone in just over half the year.

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the country has already earned US $1.71 billion from tourism in the first half of 2025, underlining the sector's continued role in economic recovery and growth.
