Sri Lanka, Oct. 30 -- The national campaign "A Nation United", aimed at eradicating the menace of dangerous drugs - one of Sri Lanka's most pressing social challenges - will be officially launched today (30) at 10.00 a.m. at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo, under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

A National Steering Committee, chaired by the President, has already been established to lead this islandwide initiative, with the Secretary to the President serving as the Council's Secretary.

The government emphasizes that this campaign will be carried out with broad public participation, extending beyond the involvement of state institutions.
