Sri Lanka, Nov. 11 -- Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath conveyed Sri Lanka's strong support for the Riyadh Declaration on the Future of Tourism, adopted at the 26th Session of the UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) General Assembly.

During the Minister's intervention yesterday, he briefed the Assembly on the importance of tourism and digitalisation provided in Sri Lanka's current economic development agenda.

Further, he highlighted that the Declaration's policy and the strategic as well as implementation dimensions are well aligned with Sri Lanka's own digitalisation and tourism policy orientation.
