Sri Lanka, July 22 -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary and Sri Lanka's Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Training are preparing to sign a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will be in effect from 2025 to 2027. This agreement serves as an extension of the previously signed MoU covering the period from 2022 to 2024.
Under this renewed agreement, Sri Lankan students will have the opportunity to receive 20 scholarships annually through Hungary's Stipendium Hungaricum program. These scholarships will support undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies in key fields such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics, medicine, health sciences, and agriculture.
